Canadian Diabetes Educator (CDE) Virtual Study Group 2022

Canadian Diabetes Educator (CDE) Virtual Study Group 2022

WHAT

This virtual study group will guide and support regulated health professionals in understanding the core competencies for Diabetes Educators identified by the Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board. This Study Group is intended to support health professionals with previous knowledge and experience in diabetes education who are preparing to write or who are considering writing the CDECB national exam to obtain CDE certification.

Weekly sessions will be held over a 18-week period using a combination of webinar technology and online learning management system. Live weekly webinars will be offered on a set day and time every week. Webinars will also be recorded, archived and made available for on-demand viewing. The online learning management system will be accessible 24/7 for the duration of the study group. As this is a national study group designed for working professionals, it is not a mandatory requirement to participate in the “live” webinars in order to participate in the study group.
