Millennials care:
Elizz launches Student Video Contest to celebrate younger caregivers

In the lead-up to National Family Caregiver Day on April 4, Elizz has launched a Student Video Contest to capture the many faces of caregiving, through the eyes of millennials.

The contest builds on a successful collaboration between Elizz – Canada’s go-to place for all things caregiving – and the renowned portrait photographer, Christopher Wahl. In 2016, Wahl’s powerful portrait series garnered media attention and shone a light on the profoundly human side of caregiving.

“Elizz is a consumer-inspired brand that has launched family caregiving out of the medicalized world of health care, into the social mainstream,” said Shirlee Sharkey, CEO of Saint Elizabeth and Elizz. “By connecting with caregivers on a new level, we’re bringing greater awareness and proactive supports to this growing, stressed population.”

“We launched the Student Video Contest as a way to engage younger caregivers and profile their amazing talent and unique stories,” said Allyson Kinsley, senior vice president of Elizz. “The response so far from high schools, colleges and universities has been amazing.”

Original video entries will be judged by a panel of caregiving and media industry leaders, including experts from Elizz, Cheil Canada and Notch Video.

The contest runs until March 10th at 11:59PM EST. For full details, visit www.elizz.com/videocontest.
