Wound Care

Saint Elizabeth Health Care takes pride in the quality care delivered to clients with wounds living in the community. Our nurses access state-of-the-art educational resources and are certified in specialized wound skills on a yearly basis. For more complex management of wounds, enterostomal therapy (ET) nurses and wound/ostomy resource nurses are available for consultation. An ET nurse is a recognized nursing specialty in wound, ostomy and continence management. Enterostomal therapy nurses and wound/ostomy resource nurses ensure that our clients experience optimized wound healing and the best quality of life when wounds are assessed as non-healable.
