Our Song

The story of the Saint Elizabeth Health Care song

They say the best way to express something is to sing about it.

In the spring of 2010, Saint Elizabeth Health Care employees were asked to put into words their thoughts on our vision to honour the human face of health care.

Their reflections inspired the creation of a song by Canadian composer Brian Tate that we all can’t stop proudly singing!

To record a music video, employees from across the organization and country gathered in Toronto to learn and sing the song. The process stretched and energized people’s understanding and imagination of our vision. Watch the music video by clicking here.

SEHC Idol: An employee singing competition

A company-wide singing competition was launched earlier this year called SEHC Idol, showcasing our song and all that it means to staff. Employees gathered, got creative and recorded their own moving and inspiring music videos. All entries are on our YouTube Channel.

Below is a video capturing some of the most memorable moments of the competition, also on YouTube.
