Philanthropist of the Year

Saint Elizabeth Health Care Foundation was awarded the Philanthropist of the Year Award by the Ontario Palliative Care Association in 2000 and again in 2009, in recognition of its record of financial support and outstanding civic and philanthropic leadership in the true spirit of hospice palliative care in Ontario. The Foundation's charitable contribution to publish, print and distribute two home care guides (a value of over $4.6 million), made the largest dissemination of palliative care information possible in the history of Ontario.
