Annual General Meeting 2011
Saint Elizabeth held our Annual General Meeting this year on September 19th at the Toronto Board of Trade. Almost two hundred people were in attendance. The evening started with a cocktail reception, which was followed by presentations. Saint Elizabeth’s new board chair, Noreen Taylor, shared the organization’s social impact and direction with the guests. They were provided a glimpse of the many exciting activities underway at Saint Elizabeth from our CEO and President, Shirlee Sharkey. And, our Foundation and its new fundraising initiative was the focus of a video presentation by Janet Holder, the Saint Elizabeth Foundation board chair. Finally, master magician, David Ben, enlightened the audience with ways of bringing creativity to business in the same way performing artists tap into new thinking for their craft. Overall this was a positive and engaging event, which received great feedback from staff and external guests.

Saint Elizabeth Health Care's 102nd Annual General Meeting "Adventures in Digging Deeper" was held on Monday, September 20th in Markham, Ontario.
As noted in the 2009/2010 Annual Report we wanted to share more stories – particularly yours, and those from clients, other health care providers, funders and donors.
