Foundation provides support for caregivers

With over five million people in Canada today providing vital care to one or more family members, the need for practical skills, knowledge and time from their caregiver duties is imperative. Since 2002, the Saint Elizabeth Health Care Foundation has provided more than 63,000 hours of respite care, free of charge, to families with significant challenges balancing their caregiving and their busy lives.

The Caregiver Support Program is available to family caregivers based on need, and it operates in Ontario and Victoria, B.C. To donate or apply, contact Louise Murray at
