Saint Elizabeth Health Care Foundation was awarded the Philanthropist of the Year award by the Ontario Palliative Care Association in 2000 for its outstanding contribution to the field of palliative care.

The Foundation’s charitable contribution to publish, print and distribute two home care guides (a value of over $4.6 million), made the largest dissemination of palliative care information possible in the history of Ontario.
