Caregiving Guides
In an effort to enhance the support and education available to family caregivers, the Saint Elizabeth Health Care Foundation has sponsored the printing and distribution of two illustrated, easy-to-follow guides by Harry van Bommel, respectively titled Caring for Loved Ones at Home and Family Hospice Care: Pre-planning & Care Guide.

Over 200,000 copies of the books have been distributed, free-of-charge, to hospitals, hospices, home care organizations and individuals to help family caregivers effectively manage and respond to the home care needs of their loved ones.

About the Author
Harry van Bommel has written 17 books in the fields of home and hospice care; management and staff development; adult learning; and how to help people record their life stories or family histories. His interest in home care comes from helping both his parents and his grandfather to live at home until they died.
