Linda Henson
Clinical Resource Nurse
Kingston Service Delivery Centre

Linda Henson has been with the Kingston SDC since its first days in 2004.  Working for Saint Elizabeth Health Care has been a great experience for Linda as she believes SEHC is an organization that truly lives up to its vision, while attracting the phenomenal talent necessary to carry out the mission.  She likes the fact that by working in community nursing she is exposed to a little of everything as far as health service delivery is concerned.  Linda is thankful to the organization for the opportunities afforded to expand her horizons, and the wonderful support she – as well as the front line staff – receives from Clinical Resource Nurses, as well as the Clinical Consultants who are always available to help and offer expert advice.  Linda notes that everyone is so eager to help one another out at SEHC, and it is “the best organization I have ever worked for.”

Linda’s colleagues are quick to point out the fantastic job she does in mentoring new nurses into community practice in the Kingston SDC – and how she is the model of someone who leads by example.  As one colleague notes, “Linda is an absolute gift to the world of nursing and truly reflects the Mission and Vision of Saint Elizabeth Health Care,” while another shares that “I hope all our Centres are fortunate to have such a person.” Those that work with Linda say she exemplifies our Mission to “share our talent and wisdom to serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families in their homes and communities” and our Vision to be a phenomenal knowledge and care exchange company.

When not busy in her role as a Clinical Resource Nurse, Linda spends her free time with her three grandchildren, reading and taking courses of interest at Queen’s University.
