POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide strategic recruitment and hiring and onboarding support to Staffing Solutions to coordinate high volume recruitment of Regulated Health Professionals as well as other healthcare support roles., locally, regionally and nationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Planning and Sourcing

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with SDC management to create a partnership in the development and implementation of recruitment initiatives

  • Assist with the development of a comprehensive recruitment strategy to deliver high volume recruiting results

  • Work closely with management to proactively identify current and upcoming staffing needs

  • Educate hiring managers on the recruiting process, timelines, roles and responsibilities

  • Prepare and post job postings/advertisements

  • Develop and maintain a list of resources/contacts (educational institutions, job boards, associations, etc.) for sourcing qualified candidates

  • Determine most appropriate and cost effective mediums/posting boards for advertising opportunities

  • Create and maintain interview tools and templates for all positions recruited for

 

Screening and Selection

  • Interview prescreened candidates and finalize hiring and onboarding process

  • Conduct reference and other background checks on selected candidates

  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the  hiring and onboarding process

  • Provide input into hiring decisions and   complete the offers of employment

  • Enter new hire information into HRIS system

  • Maintain current documentation and files on candidates

  • Use applicant tracking technology to manage the job vacancies and move candidates through the process and assist the recruitment team with the prescreening and hiring process

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant recruiting experience in a large or medium sized organization, focusing on high volume recruiting

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers

  • Team player with excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and manage high volumes of information effectively

  • Familiarity with using Social Media, innovative resources and on line tools for sourcing candidates

  • Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current role openings and identify a pipeline of talent

  • A diploma/certificate in Human Resources and/or CHRP a definite asset

  • Availability to work flexible hours to meet recruitment needs is required

  •  Regular travel to SDC’s supported for hiring and onboarding of prescreened candidates, to job fairs to source new candidates and position Staffing Solutions as a preferred employer, and to corporate office for team meetings, as required

  • Proficiency in data analysis and regular reporting to all recruitment related metrix.

  • Prior experience in Regulated Healthcare Professional recruitment is desired
